Where to stay in Bayonne/Biarritz

Hello!

I'm starting on my Camino next week. I'm arriving in Biarritz in the evening, and I'm going to stay in either Biarritz or Bayonne for one night.

Can anyone recommend a place to stay?

If you need to stay over in Bayonne walk out of the station and look left across the parking lot. There you will see the Hotel Paris Madrid which is run by Patrick and Sylvie Sorbois.

Hello Sil

Have you actually stayed in this hotel as I need one in Bayonne when I arrive their on the 20.35 train on the 4/09 before I get the first train to SJPP in the morning.

I stayed at the Paris Madrid in May and it was fine. Nothing fancy but clean and friendly, they speak English and it is very close to the train station - less than 50 meters.
