That is a really famous Armagnac town. I have no recollection of where we slept.

Thank you Colin and Newfydog, I am not en route yet, just doing a bit of research. My husband who just turned 80 is joining me for the Le Puy route this year! My plan is to stay in lovely and affordable places along the way. It is my second time on that route, it is such a beautiful walk...so this time I am staying in some of my favourite gites, but also hoping to discover some new ones on the way, so if anyone has stayed in Larressingle, I would love to hear from you. Gitti

Gitti..
It would be great to hear which gites are your favorites and what you discover about other favorite places to stay.

I really don't have a list of "recommended" places along the Le Puy route and would really like to have them before I start on 1 May. I see the MMDD listings of accommodations and a few other similar lists...but no list of the great ones. Maybe I am just missing it.
If it doesn't exist, maybe this is a good place to start one.

Hi, sorry I have not replied to your post, been really busy, I did do several successive posts with reviews of places I stayed on the Le Puy route, let me know if you can't find them, regards, Gitti

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

I did find the old thread, but was not able to open it. The thread was from August thru October 2009 and titled: "List of Albergues, Le Puy to St. Jean PP"

Maybe someone else will be able to access it.

Hello Grayland, how weird I just went into those posts and could open them no problem...I could copy and paste the content and send it to your email address if you want? Gitti
