Where to stay in Pamplona

I have become separated from my friend in Zubiri. There were no beds there and she chose to sleep on gym floor. I came ahead by taxi to Pamplona with others and found a room in southwest part of town not far from the trail exiting town. I don't know where my friend will be entering town. She has our guide book. I assume she'll want to stay in historic or cathedral area maybe. Idk if there are alburgues? Where do most stay? I need to make my way there and hopefully find us a place. Any ideas or suggestions?

Hi, she will walk in across the Puente de la Magdalena. If she doesn’t turn immediately left there to go to the Albergue Casa Paderborn, she will continue up to the Portal de Francia. She will then be on Calle Carmen, and walk past Albergue Casa Ibarrola, which I highly recommend, by the way. Good luck, I hope you find her! Jill

I stayed 2 nights here and I liked it.... its near to amenities incl the Cathedral...

Sit in the square in the evening and at some point she will pass by !

Hmm since you have taxied find the arrows & go back to where the trail enters the old city (draw bridge) follow back from there to the river. She has to cross that bridge.
