which airline to use in France and Spain?

I'm writing from Canada. Ii know that it's often cheaper to book flights when in France or Spain. Can anyone tell me the name(s) of airlines that fly in these two countries cheaply?

On our trip we had a very bad experience with Spanair. I really couldn't recommend them. Strangely enough, Berlin Air (if they service the cities you need) was quite good.
 
It depends from where in France and Spain. Ryanair and Easyjet fly from France and Spain.
Check out their websites for airports to suit your needs.
