Which Portuguese Route

1998 St Cuthberts Way, 1999 West Highland Way, 2016 & 2019 SJPDP to Santiago, 2020 Porto to Santiago
Hi all,
I'm thinking if doing the Portuguese route from Porto.
I believe there are two routes you can take, but I'm not sure which is the better route to take.
For those that have walked either, I'd love to hear your thoughts on the Oreos and cons of either route.
