Good day!

How early the Alsa company present its schedule?
I want to back from SdC to Porto Airport on 12/06/2025.
As for now it is not possible to see the bus schedule for June. I see it only for end of January 2025.
Do you know when it will be visible?

Do you know maybe better options? Train is available? Or an other bus company?

Thank you in advance for your response.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

In June there should be several busses travelling to Porto. Alsa and FlixBus. The best option would be rome2rio.com to check for availability. You should book a FlixBus connection that runs via the Airport OPO.

Alsa travels directly to the junction station Porto-Campanha, where you have to change to the tram running back to the airport (40mins).

I wouldn't go for the train. You have to change trains in Vigo. Cheap and reliable, but very time-consuming.

Alsa generally have two months of their schedule available on their online booking engine.

When I travelled from SDC to Coimbra in 2023, Alsa stopped at the airport before going into Campanha, as did Flixbus. I haven't taken the train from Vigo, but I did take it from Porto to Vigo, and it took far longer than advertised. It also departs from the station on the other side of Vigo from the new central bus/train station, so it is not a particularly seamless journey.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.

The Alsa bus is excellent; I’ve taken it many times. It goes every day from Santiago to Porto and Lisbon, and the schedule never changes, so what you see now is (probably!) what it will be in June. Bookings open 2 or 3 months ahead, and discounts are often available when bookings open, so just keep checking nearer the time. It stops at the airport before it goes on to Campanha in the city.

only partially correct. Many Alsa buses travel via the airport. I have already practiced this twice

The schedule barely ever changes so you can be pretty safe with the current schedule. Definitely use the coach, it’s cheaper by far, comfortable and they have scheduled stops and it comes with usb ports.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
May 2024, ALSA tickets to Porto could only be bought at the bus station next to the railway station - the price was about 30 Euro, stopping at the Porto airport and Campaghna station. Sorry for my pidgin english :-) BTW good place for accomodation near station is Albergue Estacion (Hola, Miguel :-))

Sorry - polish words - should be -

ALSA also have a webpage and an app where you can purchase tickets. Note that ALSA have a couple of price options, and the cheaper options might not be available if you a booking just a day or two ahead.
