Woman 77, walks from Saint Jean Pied de Port with a walker

There is a story today in El Correo Gallego of a woman, 77 years of age, that have just completed the walk from Saint Jean Pied de Port to Santiago walking with a "walker".

She said she did between 20 and 30 kilometers per day, a bit less if it was hilly.

She has earlier also walked to Rome and Palestine.

Amazing.

I am constantly amazed.
i met a78 year old man with empsesimia ( I think that how is is spelt). He had a breathing problem and could either walk or talk but not both. So he walked all day and talked all night!

this woman I saw often along my camino. She always took the road so that her walker was able to work. She was very sweet and happily doing her own thing. We all spoke about her at night time around the table, admiring her for taking on such a task. I´m pleased to hear she arrived in Santiago. cheers, Jane
