WORKING along THE CAMINO

Hello, :D

We are two pilgrims who have recently completed the CF last year, 2010. We met on the first day and from Orisson finished together in Finisterre. It's a truly amazing to have shared an experience such as ours. So now we would like to find work together along the Camino doing... well pretty much anything. The expected start time could be from early to mid June until September, 2011.
And we are certainly not opposed to more permanent positions either.

In fact we are both teachers and together we speak and understand English, Catalá, Spanish, and Italian. We are very friendly and outgoing people who work well together (and with others of course) doing most anything. We love the outdoors and most of all people.

Please contact us with any ideas as it's our dream to work along the camino... together.

Thank you so much for your replies in advance!

Sincerely,
G and E

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
The Camino works its magic again - congratulations you two!
If you are wanting to volunteer, there will be lots of scope.
If you are hoping to find paid work, you might be disappointed! There is high unemployment in Spain and lots of red tape to working for pay.

Thank you for your feedback. I certainly anticipated this being the way of the camino - things just happened if they're meant to happen.
However, it would be nice to have some idea's set up in advance. We both have nothing going on right now and would like to dedicate more of our time to travel/exploring... actually looking for a site to buy to create our own hotel/alberge

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
The couple that owns this gite met on the Camino, married, bought a building, and opened the gite:

If you speak French, you could get a lot of information from them that would be helpful!

And you must also speak to Rebekha who bought an old place on the meseta and now takes in pilgrims.

I remember that little pueblo very well... how quaint and cozy that would be. I'll send her an email. This is great!! :) Thank you so much

You can always train to be volunteer hospitaleros and try it out first before going further. I'm doing that this fall. From there, who knows..... :)
