World Fast and Prayer for Coronovirus Friday April 10

Time of past OR future Camino
2006 to date: Over 21 Caminos. See signature line
Already, well over 240,000 people of all faiths (and none), from all over the world, have responded and will join in a World Fast and Prayer day on Friday, April 10. The Prayer and Fast day was suggested by President Nelson of the LDS Church in the General Conference last weekend. The purpose of the fast and prayer is

  1. For the Pandemic to be controlled
  2. For caregivers to be protected
  3. For the economy to be strengthened
  4. For life to be normalized
My heart has really been lifted just by all the posts. There are Methodists, Catholics, Baptists, Muslims, Jews, Mormons, Pagans and Wiccans, Atheists, Pentecostals, Sikhs, Lutherans, and on and on and on. It's AWESOME!

There is a FB group you can join called Worldwide Fast April 10.

I hope you will join us.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
By the way, at some times during the day, the site begins to look like an LDS proselytizing site. The moderators do a sweep every now and then to clean that up. They want it to STAY a site to bring ALL FAITHS together for the fasting/prayer. So please be patient. Thanks.

Annie, thank you for this invitation. I will include that event in my life on Friday - tomorrow! time is flying. I will not follow the rhythm of it, but I will recall it from time to time. It is a day for remembering, alright.
