“A lot of people aren’t interested in what is around them anymore, that’s what I’ve noticed,”

I agree . Many people in their journeys are not interested in nothing but "predefined goals" and are indifferent to nature around. I think that being interested in nature requires a previous training and is very difficult for urban parents to train their children in anything different to mobile phones, Tv, etc.

We need to talk more Leave No Trace (LNT) on this forum. Carry out, what you carry in.

Personally (feverishly polishing glory), I carry a roll of doggy bags for my "shit tickets" (TP). I also have a small trowel for burying my feces. But, I guess I've been lucky, as I've not (yet?) had the need to go, in between my stops.

Deuce of Spades trowel, 17 gram

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

Wow Nekodemus you are Lucky!

How sad that you can replace this trail’s name with the Camino and get the same result of massificatio and commercialisation. Yup,just a bucket list thing to tick off, while staring at one’s smart phone.

Hi To All,

Before my Camino i knew about the littering on the Camino but i was surprised how it was. So disappointing because it's harder to be one with the nature when you see all this. And in my case i don't wanted to burn something in Cape Finisterre neither. But I understand it can be important to somebody.

Important enough to somebody to set the place on fire, risk fire fighters’ lives, destroy the environment, and thankfulky, end up in jail, for it? When did our romantic feel good moments trump the safeguard of others and the environment ?
