Walking poles are listed as prohibited items in cabin baggage by all the air safety regulators that I know about - US, Europe, Australia, etc. The checking is done by humans with all the foibles that entails. You might be fortunate and not have them confiscated.Sorry messed up posting this. But can the above bee taken onboard inside cabin baggage or do small poles need to be checked in? Flying frm UK by Ryanair. Many thanks. I have looked at their site but cannot find a definitive answer.
