Is there a lack of Internet Cafes on the Camino de Santiago?

Internet

Sillydoll recently walked the Camino de Santigo, and she said in this post:

“I found a lack of Internet Cafes on the Camino this year. Most places we stayed offered WiFi (wee fee) but no Internet facility. Many hotels now offer only WiFi and some private albergues advertise WiFi. I suppose one will have to carry appropriate technology in future if one wants to blog on the way. “

  1. “I suppose one will have to carry appropriate technology in future if one wants to blog on the way. ”
I suppose you are deeply misunderstanding the whole meaning of the Camino, turning the Way into some kind of vacation, where you everything NEED: bedplace, internet, Wifi, etc. Just please, think about the real meaning of the pilgrimage, and, if you do not like it, or you have another reasons to complete your camino, of course, you can do it and you can blog and carry all your devices on the whole camino but you will definetly lost something which is offered for simple pilgrims.

    Buen Camino, Liza

  2. Moreover, as I remember my own way, after a long day of walk – mostly on the last 100 km distance, where was crowd of tourist-pilgrims, who walked just for Compostela with mini-backpacks, used mochilla-service (to transport their belongings from one city to another etc.) and nothing else – sometimes I was not able to read my e-mails, not to reply them. I hope Spain never decide to modernize the Camino – it seemed it is modernized too much now…
