Thoughts after serving as a Hospitalera

This is not really a question, but more thoughts from a pilgrim that has just finished serving as a hospitalera. She sais:

Hospitalero training USA January 13-15, 2012

Not really a question, but more of an helping to promote this event.

American Pilgrims on the Camino is offering a west coast training this winter January 13-15, 2012 in Menlo Park, California for hospitaleros voluntarios to serve on the Camino de Santiago in Spain.

What would I need to do to become a volunteer at an albergue?

The question was:

So, just how might I become a hospitalero and be able to volunteer for doing so? I am now retired and can easily do it.

A Hospitalero Training Course, London Ontario (Canada)

In November 2007 Mary Virtue and Tom Friesen offered a very successful hospitalero training here in Victoria. They are offering the same training again in London ON in April 2008.
