What are the Visa requirements for walking the Camino de Santiago?

Schengen Visa

The question was:

I am a US Citizen and a citizen of Ireland and hold passports of both countries. But, my permanent and only residence is in Mexico and I will be flying from Mexico city to Madrid to start my camino. I plan to be in Spain for a maximum of 60 days at which point I will return to Mexico.

Do I need any visa? Which passport should I travel with?

  1. Hi! I am a Filipino passport holder and I am planning to do the Camino this October. One of the requirement in applying for my Schengen visa is proof of hotel accommodation. As a peregrino to be, I am wondering what exactly to put in my visa application as I will not be staying in one hotel. Any advice?
