Hello Fran. My husband and I arrive in Paris on the April 13 and will spend a full day before making our way to St John Pied de Port on the 15th. We begin walking on the 16th. It’s our first Camino!!! Excited beyond belief and a little nervous as well. May our paths cross.
Glad to see the 28L Jade listed. I am 70 years old, 5.2”- 106lbs going on her First Camino. I am worried the pack is too small. but yesterday I trained with pack at 7lbs (3.175k). Still a lot of room to add the rest of my gear. Hopefully when it’s fully packed it won’t go over 11lbs (4.99k)...

Thank you for this great advice. I will look for the Armaskin socks or something similar. I also heard of some goop (not sure of the name) to rub on the feet for anti-blister. I will try several items till I find one that will work for me. Buen Camino in the upcoming future.
Whoa!!! So now that I got my pack I will fill it with my items and take some walks and figure out if the shoes still work as well. A lot to consider, glad I have time and this forum to figure things out. Thank You.
