Hi David - Can you send me a link for the Navaara Mountain rescue group. Are they volunteers? Do they require funds? Any info will be helpful. I would like to set-up crowdfunding for them, if possible, for their good work in helping pilgrims. Any info will help, especially how to pay funds into their group. My Spanish is as good as non-existent, unfortunately. Best wishes. Keith
Hi all, just doing some planning.
Has any done or have advice on splitting the Frances with Porto in Portugal ? for example
-where is the best place to hop off the Frances rout and get transport to Porto?
-what transport would you take (train, bus or car hire)?
I looked at getting across from Sarria but that looks to be a complicated long train trip !
Porto accomodations? Hello all. I will be solo walking the Portuguese central route commencing in Porto in mid-March. Although I will be staying in albergues along the way I'd like to stay in a modestly priced private room in central Porto for two nights before I start walking. Any recommendations?
