Hi Colin,
I started from SJPDP on april 5th 2018, and did not decide what route to take before the same morning. Ended up doing the Napoleon route, it was hard, but fantastic.
2 days later I believe it was closed due to more snow. Whatever you do, I wish you a Buen Camino!
Well, if it wasn´t for tha fact that you walked from Porto a few years ago I would suggest to og by bus to Porto, only 3 hours aprox.
I spent a few days there after my Camino last year.
Walk on!! After doing SJPDP to Santiago last year, leaving that city was one of my fondest memory on the whole Camino.
The walk from Santiago to Finisterre was fantastic, you will regret if you don´t.
Lets just assume that we met :) A lot of lovely Places to trek in Norway.
Buen Camino on the Norte, I will start 4 months later than you, I dont expect to meet you this time
Hi.
I am arriving in Bilbao on the evening of July 31st. Still have not decided wether to start form there, or get myself to Irun and start there.
I walked SJPDP to Sanitago last year, so this is not about getting the compostella, I dont even know if I will walk all the way to Santiago this...
Hi Andrew,
thanks for the reply. I used superwool Direct on my skin every day last year, it is the best Cold/hot. And lets not forget that I am Norwegian, used to the Cold Winters :-D
