When my husband and I retired last year, I told him we had to walk the Camino. We began our way in St. Jean Pied de Port on August 30, 2015 and reached Santiago on October 9. Had I known in advance what the walk entailed, I never would have done it. Having done it, I can't wait to go back. The best experience of my life so far.
