    L'Amis de Saint Jacques

Hi all, In 2015, I was lucky enough to complete the Le Puy - Fisterre route in one go. An absolutely amazing time. After some serious nostalgia, I took a train back to Montpellier and walked the Route D'Arles for 18 days. Along that route, I discovered a group of B+B style pilgrim refuges...

Buying a train ticket - Paris to Le Puy

All I needed to know, thank you. I know it's been posted elsewhere, but thought I'd check to see if anyone has had recent experiences.

    Why Norte over traditional France

What do you mean Thornley? How could camping cause issues with a return flight? Just because I have a sleeping bag?

Buying a train ticket - Paris to Le Puy

Hi all, You've all be very helpful so far. I'm wondering if anyone who went to Le Puy from Paris if they pre-booked their train ticket or were they able to just purchase it at the airport. I'm going to skip visiting Paris and get right down to Le Puy soon after landing. I see some booking...

    Why Norte over traditional France

I really am liking all of the diverse opinions here. I am from Vancouver Island in Canada, and have all summer to do with as I please. I know I'm only able to stay in the Schengen area for 90 days, so my plan was to start in Le Puy and do that route, or hike the length of the Pyrenees...

    Solo Pilgrims!

This will all be done in 90 days. I'll scoot up to Ireland if I run out of time and do some hiking up there. Gavin! Might see you on the route! Here's hoping

    Why Norte over traditional France

Hi all, I`ve got a few ideas going around in my head about how best to spend 90 days doing a Camino this summer. I`m curious to hear your opinions on why you`ve decided to do the Norte route instead of the traditional Frances route. Other than, of course, less crowded trails, albergues, etc...

    Solo Pilgrims!

Bonjour, Ola, Gutentaag, Hello all! I`ll be finding my way to Le Puy in the next few weeks and looking to walk to SJPDP then off to Santiago and then on to Muxia. Wondering who else here will be wandering solo between June 10th and onward. Start date is up in the air as I`m gong to surprise...
