The columns are about 2.5 Kms before Sahagun. They are close to the Ermita de la Virgen del Puente. If you go onto Google Earth they are visible close by and the ermita is labelled.

Maybe wait to buy them in Spain. Otherwise you will need to check your bag to ship.them from the US. I don't know know where you are starting from, but they are easy to buy in Spain.
Often they are sold in pairs but I only ever use one. For me, the additional utility of one pole is worth the extra weight, extra thing to carry around with me that is an awkward shape and might get left behind.
The second pole does add utility...
