From just before Burgos - 47 friggin kms to find a bed!!!
Hmmm. Now in Portomarin, 5 and 1/2 weeks out from sjpdp. The two of us have not prebooked anything and have had no trouble finding beds. We are among the slowest on the trail and rarely complete our day's hike by 3:00pm.- Colokid

Stomach Bug on Meseta
I think it best to seek a motel, considering the bug (which i and my fellow traveler are experiencing) seems to spread by contagion. And would be a good precaution for any sickness.- Colokid

Credit travel or debit card???
Careful though....some debit cards of major banks have a high foreign transaction fee. (Wells Fargo debit card charges 3% fee on all foreign transactions.)- Colokid
