Cafe con Leche / Coffee on the Camino: Enquiring Coffee Lovers want to know!!

Very difficult, I was always met with perplexed looks when trying to order soy, possibly my mangled pronunciation. Being a habitual soy user, I found the transition to leche quite easy though, maybe due to A2 factor mentioned above. I found the taste of coffe in Spain varies little, so you...

People with Altra Lone Peak shoes

I spent more time, researching, stressing and consulting health professionals trying to find the perfect shoe, than any other aspect of my camino preparation earlier this year when completing the del norte. I too landed on the Altra Lone peak 6's, as soon as I slipped them them on, I knew they...

What concerned me was the amount of padding falling out, I was concerned that this would cause a friction point due to the uneven fabric and exposure to the more coarser inner lining of the shoe, but so far like your experience, it doesn’t seem to be a problem . With exception of one city, Deba, I have not had any poroblems finding accommodation, I’ve been using a mixture of Albergues, pensiones and Airbnb in one instance. Sometimes I look on booking.com and there...

They were new. So a bit annoyed they’ve broken down so quickly, would have understood if it was towards the end of the walk, but not after 400klm.

Hi, I’m currently on the Camino Del Norte, about two days before Gijion, my shoes are starting to disintegrate, i.e, the material on my inside heel has worn/split and some of the stuffing/padding has fallen out . I’m thinking this willl be a problem in terms of an irritation point causing...

    Australians allowed to travel.

Thanks happyValerie, some good advice about the electoral commission , completely forgot about that! Re the international vaccination certificate, my understanding is that this is the document at that Australian travelers have been having difficulties with. It’s got something to do with the QR...
