This is my first post since I´ve started the Camino. It is as amazing as I hoped and more. The fellow pilgrims are very special people and me and my companions have made a number of friends that are still with us, behind, ahead and elsewhere in the world at this time. The weather has been...
Looking forward to, hopefully, seing you all. For those starting a little after us, we plan to go straight through to Finisterre and then bus back to Santiago to get the compestela and relax for a few days. We're a little afraid of stopping at that point, better to push on and reach the end and...
Thanks for everyone's input. I'll hit the bookstores tomorrow in Denver and see what I can find. After that, Saint Jean by Oct 3rd/4th. Hopefully, see some of you on the trail.

Well the time is quickly approaching. Paris Oct 2nd and departing St. Jean Oct. 4th. Anyone on the trail around the same time? It'll be myself and three others traveling together. My name is Bryan and I have my avatar (online symbol) sewed onto my pack. If you spot me feel free to say hello...

I am actually bringing a...

Ivar,
Thank you very much for the direction. Hopefully your new endeavor in Santiago will be in full swing by November and I'll see you at trails end.
Thanks again,
Bryan
Does anyone have an idea how I can make it to Peniche in Portugal from Santiago? Buses or trains? I'm having problems wading through schedules with my limited Portugese (and by limited I mean none).
Your feet...
Thanks Peter,
Good luck on your travels and have a great Camino. I'm opting for boots over shoes. I like the ankle support over the weight issue. Mt. Crest GTX Men by Raichle are my current boots and I've had them over a year. I did sections of the Colorado Trail and Continental...
