Ungüentos and vaseline
A light coating of vaseline each morning before I put my socks on - one pair light-wt. liners with outer pair of smart wool - kept me blister free from SJPP to Santiago last April/May. I also aired out my feet frequently during the day. ¡Buen camino!- edeanr

New Albergue 1.5 km after Triacastela - Ecologico El Beso
I could not agree more with your comments, Nancy about El Beso. I spend a wonderful evening/night in this albergue with Jessica and Marijin and two other pilgrims shortly after they opened in late April of this past Spring. It is one of the highlights of my Camino.- edeanr

Border crossing France into Spain
Great point and I´m guessing you are probably correct. I know that the airline official - Iberia - did look at the front page - photo, expiration date of the passport, etc. I do not recall her looking through the passport however to check on our entry date....but then again, I wasn´t...- edeanr
