I would also recommend the Sea to Summit sil sack. They have a version that has straps to compress. I use it for my clothes. It isn’t cheap but it gets the job done.
I put the quilt in a roll-top drysac, sit on it and roll the top, put in back pack. It expands a bit during the day but that isn't a problem once the pack is filled.
I have an EE Revelation Apex like you, and a 36L pack (though the main body of the pack is only 28L). What I have opted to do is what a lot of American thru-hikers do: I will use a pack liner.
