I’m starting the Camino Frances from SJPD 4/3. I’m still on the fence whether to take my ultralight down jacket. I’m bringing a good rain jacket/shell and multiple thin layers (merino wool). Will that be enough?
I just received my ultralight Enlightened Revelation APEX Sleeping Quilt. I have a 34L pack, and I’m looking for the best way to compress it so I can pack it inside to keep it dry. This quilt was not cheap! Thanks in advance!!!
That seems very reasonable. I do plan on using mostly my weighted pack. Perhaps using the vest a bit for core strength. I’m walking in a month’s time, but I’ve been training since November, but I’ve always been a walker/hiker. I had a little hiccup breaking my fifth metatarsal, but I’m still...
I’m not willing to risk an injury with a weighted vest. Appears it could be useful, but only doing it right. It makes more sense to use the real thing. Thanks 🙏
Good advice, thanks! After researching more, wearing the real thing makes more sense. It appears weighted vests could be useful but there is a risk to injury to joints.
