I'll be arriving in Porto on Monday December 9th and my first day of walking will be Tuesday...

I'll start in Porto on December 10th and expect to arrive in Santiago around the 20th - which I consider realistic...(I am trained and fit)....

Hi fellow pilgrims! Did the Frances in March/April this year, and I want to do the Portugues in the period from December 20 to December 31. Anyone with experience of walking it at this time of year?

Being a rookie I just want to get off to a decent start - and I have no preferences other than getting to Roncesvalles on my first day....thanks for the comments and help :)

Just to make sure that I get it rigth; from SJdPP to Roncesvalles - under the current conditions - 7 to 8 hours walk...and I would have to stick to the mainroad right?

I arrive in SJdPP on coming Saturday - and being a total Camino rookie, I need some help here....
Should I not cross the Pyrenees? Alternatively Go to Pamplona and start off there or ??
