Hi, I start my Burgos to Leon perambulation 20th April. Just wondering what the weather is like there if anyone on Camino at present near burgos. Weather apps say temp is -1° in the mornings!! Is it really that cold? Is it hat / gloves / scarves territory?
Hi, just saw a banner on Ryanair website about french air traffic control strike 29 June and potential flight cancellations for anyone flying to Biarritz that day. Hopefully won't effect too many people's plans .
I'm starting from Seville 16th Oct, done a bit of research and most albergues should be open. Seems a good few pilgrims will be on the route too but not as numerous as the Frances route.
Starting the vdlp from Seville 16th October, just wondering if I'll be the only person on the route then. I don't mind walking alone but like meeting fellow pilgrims at the end of day stops. Has anyone walked this route mid October? Any thoughts much appreciated , 😃. Wondering will albergues...
Hi Bob
Thanks for the advice. You mentioned many things I didn't even think of. I didn't factor in there could be downpours of rain and the impact that may have if camping the CF.
I'm now thinking a combination of hostels and camping might be suitable as needs dictate.
Many thanks again...
Hi.
I'm hoping to do Camino Frances in Sept 2021. I'm thinking of bringing a tent and camping in hostel gardens/ near the villages along the route.
For food, I'm thinking of stocking up in supermarkets and small shops as I go along to try avoid any covid as much as possible. Just wondering...
Anyone else starting from.Seville 10th April 2020? ,good friday. Wondering if hostels / cafes etc will be open over easter? Could I be stranded in Guillena/ Castiblanco without a bed? Can't seem to prebook anything for these 2/places ,any help appreciated:-)
I agree, probably better to just walk on through. Pity cos its meant to be a nice city but I will only be dissapointed if I see is during the SanFermin festival.
