Lirsy, Thank you for the comment and the quote. I've heard that before and like it. It's easy for us to be so focused on some element or ritual of the Faith, and forget the central purpose. Sorry to be so late in replying to this, but I'm planning my first camino and so am a newbie here. However, in all my reading, I've read the same thing about the VDLP: That it has "less of a 'Camino Feeling'".
