I also suggest staying clear of the WOACA facebook group too. They have basically scrubbed clean a majority questions or concerns about the actions of the admin and their supporters from the group page. Not the trusting, safe place I thought it was.- IamGrit

Best app to accurately record distances, elevation and descent per day
Strava is a good one. I use for all my hikes at home and used it on the Camino too. It has a low draw on the phone battery and automatically pauses when you stop. Tracks distance, elevation, average pace, time, etc.- IamGrit
