    Really? Have done Sarria to Santiago twice in the last year. Many things to see and visit on the route! Iron age castro, Pembre Castle, Vilar de Donas church, etc. Good services along the way.

    Mine absorb or wick through my straps. Also the pack cover makes the pack fit differently and less comfortably with the raincoat so I will stick with a good poncho from now on.

    I had to give lessons on the albergue ninja tactics to my university student group on the Camino last winter... I remember on my first Camino being in awe of a guy who was an experienced pilgrim and that he never woke anyone in the bunk room. He was there and then he was gone each morning!
