    If it's too windy for the umbrella, just fold it up and put it in one of the side pockets of your pack! With a hat underneath the hood of the jacket, you'll be fine.

    I had a very nice stay at Gîte Lo Fenador in Nasbinals last year. No meal served, but there's a kitchen, and they provide a very nice reception with appetizers and a local liquor. There's also a small chapel downstairs. Easy to find a meal in town.

    I use and recommend these minimalist bungee attachments: https://www.gossamergear.com/collections/accessories/products/lightrek-pack-bungee-attachment . They effectively attach sticks, umbrella, fishing rods, etc. to your pack.

    Patagonia Lightweight Sleeping Bag at 335 g. This is what I use for caminos. It's discontinued, but you can still find it online. It is plenty roomy. I carry both a silk liner (Rab) and this bag, depending on the route.

    Try Patagonia capilene. There is a midweight, thermal weight, and "air" (combo capilene & wool, for cold). I use the midweight under a wool skirt unless it's really cold out (freezing).

    Do You Need Sleeping Bag in April?

    I like the Patagonia Lightweight Sleeping Bag. Took it on the CF. Perfect for indoors. Weighs less than a pound and folds up into a tiny stuff sack. (I also brought a silk liner from RAB. My backpack was about 7.5 lb without water.)
