Englishman recently moved to Portugal after a life in fishing from Norwegian to Alaskan waters. My house is on the camino Portuguese coastal route between Caminha and Valenca close to the village of Vila Nova de Cerveira. I've walked small sections of various caminos and talked with many peregrinos about their experience especially concerning accommodations and was inspired by them to offer my casa as a refreshment,wifi and overnight stop. The area along the rio mino is really beautiful and I encourage anyone with the time to linger a while and enjoy it. There exists a walking path beside the coast and river almost the entire way from Viana do Castelo to Valenca o the Portuguese side which is ideal for a pleasant experience in nature.
