Same happened to me in Barbadelo: waiting for my first cup of coffee at my Albergue that also had a restaurant and a tour opera in front of me was ordering coffee and breakfast for 25 people and didn’t have the grace to let me order mine until he was finished!
Honestly I don’t remember walking alongside the highway. I remember walking through a pretty desolate farm which led to a long up and down stretch eventually passing the donativo canteen with the heart stamp. From there crossed a road and through a field to the left to Astorga.

If I remember correctly I did this stage from Villar de Mazarife to Astorga and found it very difficult.
From hospital de orbigo it’s pretty desolate and no shade. By the time I got to the bridge in Astorga I experienced early onset heat exhaustion in early June despite keeping hydrated.
From my understanding the notice is being posted in Camino groups in the hopes she will be found. In addition she has not been classified by her friends and family as a pilgrim although reported she was last seen in an albergue.
