Plus, when the date is in decreasing order (with leading zeros) at the start of the names of files their listings come up arranged in chronological and alphabetical order both. Edit: Here's an example. You see the date and time in the filenames... -
The ISO format is yyyy-mm-dd. I find it much easier since when I see 03-05-2024, depending on the source, I can't tell if it is May 3rd or March 5th. With the ISO format there is no confusion.
