Help with Portuguese Coastal Way
Just walked 8 miles from Porto to Matosinhos along the coast. It is absolutely beautiful and I can't see why anyone would avoid it and get the metro!- nickbennison

Two new albergues between Lisboa and Porto
I walked from Lisbon to Tomar in short stages in January and wrote a short review on this forum. Continuing to Porto now and will write another review when I get home :)- nickbennison

Stayed in Cernache last night Nice little albergue. 3 rooms with 4 or 6 bunks. Decent kitchen and living room. Tumble dryer Good WiFi and Antonio was super friendly Local restaurant denied all knowledge of a pilgrims menu despite a menu in albergue :( Door was locked on arrival so we phoned...- nickbennison

Lisbon to Tomar In Short Stages
I've walked Porto to Santiago twice, inland and coast and to be honest I enjoyed this Lisbon section just as much but in different ways And as a way of doing part of a Camino in mid winter I do not think it could be bettered (although I am open to persuasion)!- nickbennison

Lisbon to Tomar In Short Stages
Just got back from first stage of Portuguese Camino (commenced 1st Jan) having done the Porto- Santiago stretch a couple of times. Had a great time.
