Hope-ologist i too am an active cancer fighter, planning on walking either in late sept./oct into early nov. or later march-mid may (2014). i keep committing to a time line, then having real life goof things up. :)
i haven't exactly discussed this completely with my onc. i got approval to do...
what are the benefits of smartwool socks? i usually wear handknit socks which i can build to fit my feet very carefully. i do have some smart wool and agree that they are great socks, but i think of handknit as better.
any knitters out there who have walked in hand knit?
had originally thought i might go in oct/nov 2013, but have finally committed in my head to april/may of 2014 instead. i'm going to be walking medieval style clothing because i'm a history geek.

i don't care about pics. :::shrug::: again---when you go...
i have been involved in medieval reenactment so, creating and wearing the clothes sounds good to me (and i do it often) as i find it generally more comfy than modern clothes. i do wear and would wear modern underwear, and likely would wear some sort of running shorts under my dresses to avoid...
hi--i'm new, and i have some questions--how bizarre, preposterous, unreasonable is it to consider walking the camino in medieval clothing? i am obsessed with the idea and am trying to figure out how feasible it is.
