Getting from Santiago de Compostela to Madrid (cheaply)
I was looking into the train from Santiago to Madrid on July 5th, and both the Renfe and the Rail Europe site can't say I can't make reservations. Does this mean there's no train, or does it mean I just can't make them this far in advance. It will accept the date for my Madrid--Pamplona train...- orlandospace5

What did you read on your Camino
I have yet to make my first camino (almost exactly a year away), but The Way of a Pilgrim is inspiring. It is by an unnamed Russian pilgrim and is translated. I will probably bring one book besides the guide, but it'll have to be one I can read again and again--Thoreau or Pirsig.- orlandospace5
