    Preventing Black Toe ?

    Open toe sandals. I wear nothing else. ALways surprised to see most people wearing such heavy duty trekking gear. Why? No need in summer or autumn. I recommend sandals and golf clothes. (You will, however, be frowned upon by ”real” hikers. Just ignore.)

    Just back home from walk from SJPP to Burgos. Also had to skip two days. I would have skipped walk between Santo Domingo and Belorado - it was next to a big road all day.     Sounds like bargain! Good luck with the sale. I saw that the small albergue in Cirauqui is for sale for 480 000 euros. (Maybe good for someone who likes to live next to the church bells - striking every 15 minutes al night long ;-) )
