    Preventing Black Toe ?

Open toe sandals. I wear nothing else. ALways surprised to see most people wearing such heavy duty trekking gear. Why? No need in summer or autumn. I recommend sandals and golf clothes. (You will, however, be frowned upon by ”real” hikers. Just ignore.)

Your prefered part on el Norte?

Hi, I only have 2 weeks to walk some part of el Camino del norte. Could someone recommend me a nice route? :-) If I can I want to aviod walking along big roads. Don't walk the Camino, unless it's your Way

:-D This made me laugh! :-D Must say I feel a bit sorry for you though. It does sound like you tourtured yourself and still you walked the whole way! Skipping a Day or 2

Just back home from walk from SJPP to Burgos. Also had to skip two days. I would have skipped walk between Santo Domingo and Belorado - it was next to a big road all day. I would also skip entering Burgos = industrial area But I would not skip Burgos - nicest bigger place I've been to. I loved...

    Notable peregrinos

I am in Villafranca right now. (Unfortunatelly not feeling good so will have to stay here for a while) Everytime a tell someone that I am Swedish they say "Have you met Viktor?" Apparently he has been an inspiration to many, starting in Sweden 4 months ago, I have been told. I am so curious -...

Cafe and house albergue for sale. Want to Change your Life and live on the Camino?

Sounds like bargain! Good luck with the sale. I saw that the small albergue in Cirauqui is for sale for 480 000 euros. (Maybe good for someone who likes to live next to the church bells - striking every 15 minutes al night long ;-) )
