I did take, and use, a power bank. I take tons of pictures, and stay in touch with my family during the walk, and that eats a considerable amount of battery from the phone. I walked 5-7 hours per day, and used two or three apps to guide me on... -

Personally I would leave them behind as it seems your phone can perform the functions of both of them. Less weight, fewer devices to charge.

TheRealPixie replied to the thread Topo Wearers!.I think the only advice I've heard is slowly acclimate yourself to it. I hear though that if you walk barefoot a lot (me at home) you probably won't notice the difference and should have no issues "getting used to it."

Can’t we just feel sad for folks who are too ill or poor to have the privilege of walking a Camino. There is really no need to feel sad for folks who just fancy a bit of ‘Bon Jovi’ on a quiet afternoon!
