Alert WARNING: Sexual predator near Tuído on Portuguese Central

I hope people realize that when something like this happens to you, it is a 100%. Reporting to the police may help others in the future but not the victim. I think it is about time to bite the bullet and say that you have to expect this kind thing may happen until the human behavior changes...

Happy new year from 2024 here in Aotearoa New Zealand

Kia Ora! I wish I knew these things when I first planned my trip. I am going to see if I can change my plans and the extra cost of re-arranging. I am learning a lot about New Zealand lately. Thanks.

    Experience with Plantar Fasciitis

There are literally hundreds of things professionals recommend you to do/wear/apply, and it still takes months to get to normal. You never know which one of those, or all of what you have done, helped. After several months your pain will be gone. Wonder what would happen if you don't do anything.

    Ryanair Carry-On

Thank you very much to all who replied to my question. Now I have good understanding of Ryanair baggage policy. I have not purchased any tickets yet; I am asking this now so that I can compare the fares with baggage charges included. Obviously Ryanair has changed its policy to charge carry-on...

    Ryanair Carry-On

Hello, last week I traveled on Frontier Airlines(U.S.) and became aware of their carry-on luggage and personal bag policy. Until then I thought one carry-on is always free as long as it fits in overhead bin. I have not traveled on Ryanair since COVID outbreak, and I am wondering if the airline...

    Camino Portuguese in November?

Thank you all who responded. It sounds encouraging. I expect that things are not going to be like during the main season, but I was afraid the whole thing is virtually shut down.

    Camino Portuguese in November?

Hello, Everyone. Unfortunately, the only time I have in 2023 to walk the Camino is after November 5 and want to walk Camino Portuguese from Porto. The questions I have are: 1. Will there be enough albergues open in the month of November along the CP route? 2. I don't think I can carry my...

    Ryanair and cabin bags?

I have an Osprey Althos 50L backpack and have had no problems with taking it onboard on several RyanAir flights. I don't know if they changed their rules recently, but 36L size should be OK. My backpack fits in the overhead space. Unlike luggages it is hard to measure a backpack because the...

Love the idea, but for 1500 pounds? How many days would it take?

Walking the Camino Portuguese in November - what to Expect?
