Maybe a little late with my planning for le Puy...

Brilliant. Love the style of reply too. I guess I'm going to be the dumb English only speaker again this year. :( But then my Polish friend says I'm fortunate as they have to get by everywhere. Thank you for the detailed reply.

Maybe a little late with my planning for le Puy...

Thanks for taking the time to reply. It's starting to take shape nicely now. Flights in, first night accommodation, and the rest will just have to unfold as I go.

Maybe a little late with my planning for le Puy...

T Brilliant Bill. Great help thank you. I am definitely not a Santiago fan so this wont bother me. I actively plan on skipping through Santiago when I get to that point every time. Too touristy and crowded. I love getting past Santiago and back on the trail again. I'm looking forward to less...

Maybe a little late with my planning for le Puy...

Thank you to everyone who replied. I've done several Caminos. I think one of the less facilitating was the Via Francegina to Rome. Many days with no facilities, and very few English speakers. I'm going to ok being the dumb non-French speaker, as long as they don't get too bothered. I won't...

Maybe a little late with my planning for le Puy...

thanks guys. I'm afraid my French is non existent. But then so was my Portuguese in Portugal, Italian in Italy and Spanish in Spain. I think I can fly into Lyon, so maybe a bus from there? Surely, its early to be booking yet? Thanks for the replies.

Maybe a little late with my planning for le Puy...

I am very interested in walking from Le Puy to St. Jean in July. I've completed several other Caminos, so I am afraid I'm a little too casual with my prep for this one. I going to spend the next few days digging for info online, but if anyone would be willing to answer any of the queries, I...

Late October/Early Nov Camino days out of Granada/Seville or(Malaga)

Thanks for the replies everyone. and yes Rachael, I can see that it looks like I'm trying to do three city breaks and a camino in a week, lol. No, we are flying in to Malaga, that was our best flight option. But we are open to walking out of Malaga, or taking the bus to Granada and spend a day...

Late October/Early Nov Camino days out of Granada/Seville or(Malaga)

Hi folks. I am hoping someone might be able to get me researching for the right route. I've walked several caminos (Portuguese, del Norte, French and a few smaller ones). I've booked to fly into Malaga in late October. I am keen to see Granada, and my walking partner is interested in seeing...

    Albergue Availability

thank you for the replies everyone. I have managed to get beds in Pamplona in an albergue that I have been in before. I'll call ahead as I move through to Puente, etc. I think Los Arcos may be an issue, there's little going on there and not a lot of options. I'm sure I'll manage.

    Albergue Availability

Just about to kick of my second short late October early Nov Camino. I'm seeing lots of the albergues as either closed, which is fine as it's entering November, but many of the albergues are full according to a well used reservation site. Even the privados in Pamplona are all booked out, which...

I'm having issues with Alsa.com It keeps returning temporarily unavailable. Has anyone travelled from Reus airport up to the Camino Frances. I'm thinking Logrono. Pamplona would be a plan B. Just looking to join a few pilgrims and walk for a week. Flight lands at 11am (ish). Any advice...

Camino route (Zaragoza?) advice please: Landing in Reus

thanks for all the helpful comments everyone. It looks like the pilgrim traffic could be thin on the ground. and I like meeting people. Is there something to be said for taking transport right up to Pamplona, or Logrono?

Camino route (Zaragoza?) advice please: Landing in Reus

I managed to get a week off work and snapped up flights into Reus outside Barcelona. I have walked Camino Frances, del Norte & Baztan but I don't really know anything about this part of Spain. Would anyone be able to tell me if there would be albergues open from Zaragoza to Logrono? I'm...
