Hello...
I am doing el camino frances with a very limited budget and would like to stay in the least expensive albergues. Any tips for this?
Also, might it be the case that some albergues will allow me to do a "work for stay" arrangement? Is this common/something that is done?
Thanks for any...
Thank you all for the tips.
Given the cold of the winter I think I will do el Camino Frances in October-November and the Andalucian GR7 in late November-January given the cold of the via de la Plata route then.

Thank you for all the helpful and hopeful responses thus far. I will look into all the tips you have offered.
FYI, I am a citizen of the UK (and the US) and therefore, believe I have the right to work in Spain. So an EU citizen, do I still need to go about getting an NIE or would my citizenship...
Hello...
Perhaps you will find this a strange question, but I am wondering how easy it might be to find some work and odd jobs along the way at the small towns?
Also, is it possible to do work for stay/food arrangements at the albergues/refugios and restaurants?
Has anyone heard anything...
