Does this mean that (given nothing changes within the next month), pilgrims walking from Portugal into Spain in June on the Camino Portugues will be allowed to pass? Will they be required to show a negative COVID-19 test on entry to Spain as they would have had to if they had arrived by air? Thanks!
Hey again, seems the 17th is a little optimistic for me and my friend, since we are not planning to use trains to get from Lourdes to SJPDP because of a low budget. We may have to take buses and/or walk/hitchhike to get to SJPDP. So that may put our start on the 18th/19th. We'll see.
Hi,
Thanks for your answer Metropolly. We've ruled that out now, in favour of a potential bus route, since our budget has been cut considerably.
I need some info on bus services in the area, providing a cheaper and/or faster way from Lourdes to SJPDP. I've had a good search but have failed to...
Hello again.
Did a bit of searching into train times etc to get to SJPDP. I need advice on whether this timeframe is possible. So: Arriving at Tarbes Lourdes Airport 1345. Got to get from there to Lourdes Train Station to catch the 1420 to Bayonne... It says there's buses approx. every hour...
Thanks for the kind wishes ladies/gents! :D I looked up the hitchhiking situation in Northern Spain and we should be able to make it work. Our budget doesn't allow for much use of busses and/or other means of travel.
Hope the cash is enough, it's gonna be great either way!
Kind Regards
Steve
Hello there everyone,
a friend and I will be walking the Camino Francais from SJPDP starting around the 17th of September. We won't be walking the whole thing as we're on a tight schedule of just 20 days or so.
Hope to see some of you mabe on the way. :D
Kind Regards
Steve

Yes camping out was what we had in mind for most nights. Taking into mind what you say, we'll probably be saving up over the...
