Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles
We had a great lunch at Le Relais de la Nive down by the water which was great. Another option is to buy a baguette and grab some cheese from Crèmerie de Garazi which have an outstanding selection of cheeses.

I can't remember the name, but it's on the main drag, the chef looked like Rasputin and the Iraty trout was too die for👌

Love trout. I even liked the trout that they serve in the muni in Roncesvalles haha. But the CF has become way too crowded so I doubt I will ever walk from SJPP again. But the great memories of SJPP and the CF will always be with me.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

One spot I'd definitely recommend checking out is La Petite Table. They serve up some delicious French cuisine and have a great ambiance. Also, don't miss out on Chez Gaston for some amazing seafood dishes.

Thanks very much for some great suggestions! I’m now spoilt for choice!!

New Original Camino Gear Designed Especially with The Modern Peregrino In Mind!
I remember a crêperie on the main drag that was lovely. I want with an American pilgrim lady who'd never had French pancakes before and thought them an exotic treat.

A great source of food in St Jean is the fridge in the municipal Albergue. At 8:00am, when everyone has left it’s quite nourishing to discover how many have forgotten their packed lunch in their enthusiasm to leave. For an evening meal, and a bit of a treat, Oillaburu suits

Love that idea, but presumably you (if a Pilgrim) have also been invited to leave by 0800. Maybe grab and go about 0759😁...and snag those half full bottles of vino and orujo!
