Found Credencial in Eunate

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
Well done to the owner for having filled in the details that will allow the document to be restored to him, sooner or later. And thanks to poster.
It offers an example of a point I referred to in another thread that helps hospitaleros when registering pilgrims in donativos. Names, and ID details.

Bless you for posting this, KeyserSoza!

I had a heart-stopping moment on my 2019 Frances. I paused at the edge of SdeC, at the Chapel of San Marcos on the Monte de Gozo. I went inside for a quiet moment, and to get my credencial stamped, then rested on the low stone wall outside its door. I slipped my credencial back into a nice orange plastic sleeve that I'd bought from Ivar, next to my US passport. I then shoved off --- leaving the orange sleeve there on the low stone wall!

It wasn't until I reached my SdeC albergue that I realized what I'd done. Panicked. Didn't know what to do, so I raced to Police HQ and reported the loss, hoping that someone would find it and turn it in to the police.

On the way back to my albergue, crossing the Plaza de Immaculata a few minutes later, a man ran up to me. "Father" he called out. "Were you just at the San Marcos chapel?" Yes, I replied. "Did you leave your passport there?" I said that I thought that I had. "I found it, and I just turned it in at the Pilgrim Office!" I raced there and, sure enough, there I was reunited with my orange sleeve and its precious documents. Whew!

That was the good part. The bad part was that I never got my benefactor's name or contact information. Big sigh!

I pray that Niall is reunited with his, and knows who to thank.
