Thank you Evie for the added detail. I will stick to the plan I think but if I get too lonely may adjust. I have decided to be open minded for another experience that than what I thhink I may need and see how it goes. Maybe it will al turn out perfectly
I did manage back in 2011 to make a...

I walked the first bit also (inland route) Yes the beginning is through town and industrial bits, but thet is where the camino is so I walked it. I did find that people were exceptionally kind and gave me small gifts and things to bring to Santiago on this first bit, maybe because most take the...
Thank you for your description. I am starting the salvador on friday moving on to the primitivp, but am having greater and greater doubts thinking maybe I will be all alone, which is not what I am looking for. How many people did you actually meet please?
thanks all, I can't really take out anything, as I really am down to a bare minimum...

Thank you David

I think most of us have many cows, some large some small :)
Another thing I was thinking, was that the Camino truly provides a sense of belonging for me. No matter where I am, I always have the people og the Camino in my heart and I always know that there is a place out there that feels like...

I have worn the speedcross on my 2 previous caminos (a pair only lasts for one) and then, obviously, bought a new pair for this years. But they have made a new model and after 2000 km in my old shoes with no blisters this new model gave me 2 after only 4 km. They were small though (or could have...
