October 12 is Hispanic Day,, a National holiday,,, which will mean the trains and buses will be very busy on that Monday,,, many locals will travel to be with family,, and then return home!! I have used Alsa bus Madrid to and from Oviedo,, and they are good,,, and bookable right now!!

    About every half an hour there is a Alsa bus service from the Bus Station,, next door to the Train Station,,, shortest trip takes 30 minutes,, buy ticket at the Station
