As a student I tried to keep my cost low. So ALDI was my best friend.
Shirts both from ALDI. Maybe 10 CHF each.
Synthetic silk liner as sleeping bag: 15 CHF
My shoes were a gift for my birthday.
My backpack cost 100 Euro (I share it with my brother so 50 Euros for each of us)

Hi Lulla
Thanks for your advice!
Already tried lavender oil and tee tree oil for the itch. Unfortunately it didnt work at all. Also I don‘t want to embaras them by treating my stuff so intense. If I‘ll see any at home I‘ll definitely try the thing with a garbage bag!

Hallo Manuela
I did the Portugese one last year. I started from Porto so it took me only 11 days. Maybe you want to start from a point more south? There were alsways enough beds for everyone and it wasn‘t to crowded. If you want to know more about it you can just send me a message. I‘m German so...
...has already been treated.

I know exactly that it are fleas and not bed bugs or anything because I saw and killed several of them already.

Greetings, Muriel

Good Luck! ( Maybe I‘ll try it myself on the piano)

As a woman with long hair on her camino: I did shower every day but I didn‘t wash my hair every day. I wanted to keep my backpack as light as possible. So I left my hairdryer at home. My hair dries pretty quickly, so it was dry before going to bed. It's best for the hair anyway to let it air...
I started end of June and arrived in Santiago mid july. I think Redondela is a nice town. If you will stay in Rubias, try to stay in Ninho. It‘s a private albergue and its name means „nest“. It really is. A warm welcome and 2 kind dogs are waiting for you. Loved it there
I walked the CP beginning in Porto last year. Had no problems with finding an accomodation at all. Maybe you should book in Porto. There may be to many tourists to just go and see.
Buen Camino
Hi guys
I‘ll start my second Camino in the beginning of June. Did someone walk the CF around that time last year and could tell me something about the bedsituation?
Thanks for your support, Buen Camino!
Muriel
