    Coffee

PS: Actually, Edgar Cayce, the Sleeping Prophet, not a commie, said black coffee was healthy. I have been muscle-tested for organic black coffee and it came out positive. We all have different biology. Blessings.

Everyone has a different point of view, don't they?

    Coffee

YES! I just ordered my coil from Amazon that includes adaptor. Many uses besides coffee, as mentioned by you! Soup, oatmeal, quinoa, couscous, etc. Also a good money-saver for preparing own meals.

    Coffee

GOOD to know. But I was planning to buy one from Amazon, either one that works in Europe or use the adaptor, but the former is obviously easier. THANKS for the warning!

Thanks, Michal, for taking the time to share your detailed and thoughtful perceptions. You are appreciated. I have been to REI with a friend in the past. Not near one these days. But I would imagine, since they are so helpful, IF you could go there or some equivalent, there are very helpful salespeople who are also hikers that could help you choose? Also, you know you have to walk it around filled up...

    Coffee

Maybe you can find your own drip filter in a store in a larger town as well as coffee. That is my plan anyway from decades of travel: Bring own mug, heating element, drip filter and coffee! Sometimes you can find a decent instant coffee to make it simpler but not my favorite. When you need that...

    Be careful with phones.

That sucks about your phone! Sorry to hear it! My phone is temporarily out of order (I hope) and I also have most addresses and contacts on it. No online banking however. I am looking into having it on a chain when on the Camino as I have learned to for my wallet after a theft living in Mexico...

Has anyone used a Faraday bag for their mobile or computer while on the Camino? If so, how does that affect getting access to wifi when you take it out? Thank you everyone!

THANKS SO MUCH for this, Kathy! YES, all to look forward to . I am going to experiment with this cheap 1 lb mini bullet blender in order to concoct some of my own juices, gazpacho, raw soups, etc! What the heck? It's only a pound ha ha!
